The concept of Philosophy as conceived by the SHIP is a very broad one. Philosophy as love of wisdom embraces all human discourses and reflection on human and cosmic existence from all human cultures. There is no human culture without philosophy. Intercultural Philosophy here then includes intercultural studies done in a reflective and thoughtful manner. All human disciplines are subjects of philosophical endeavours. This is why the SHIP publishes papers from all disciplines in as far as they contribute to the global body of wisdom and knowledge. The SHIP promotes scholarship in an interdisciplinary manner.
